"Even if you do not know where you go, if you know the way"

Define simple hiking serious; "start walking and let go, while respecting the environment." Halfway between sport, tour and travel, hiking is a recreational activity more fans in the last fifty years.

The real motivation of this sport is in the appreciation of the natural environment in which we move, enjoy the company of friends and curious about the hidden secrets of our nature. Visitors

sporadically in areas favorable for walking not always realize the aggressions to which they are refer to these natural landscapes and overlook one of the basic principles of hiking: respect the environment.

is why we have thought it would be desirable to lay before a series of recommendations for all those who are not very familiar with the trails.
hope you are useful, ... and see you on Sunday!

1) hiker's equipment

  1. The most appropriate clothing for hiking is one that is light, spacious and allow freedom of movement.
  2. takes the right equipment for the season, in our case (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc)
  3. footwear is paramount for walkers. Best for walking the trails are hiking boots. These boots have to be lightweight, comfortable, strong, with a thick, hard soles. The ankle must be protected to avoid strains, sprains and scratches.
  4. socks, it is important not bring seamless, relief and not be too large to avoid annoying blisters.

2) What I get?

  1. never forget the water (water bottle and carry sufficient water reserves), is also helpful to keep energy foods (granola bars with honey, nuts, chocolate ...), if forces falter.
  2. Do not expect to have the sensation of thirst. Ideally, you go to drink water every twenty minutes to prevent dehydration.
  3. not forget to bring your camera as we pass by places that are worth photographing unique.

3) Be respectful of nature

  1. Leave the field as you like to find. Do not leave or bury the trash. The organic material (fruit skins ...) also pollutes visually (we like to get a waste site). Deposit in the collection points located in each of the aid stations.
  2. Beware bad off cigarettes! Are the main causes of fire unprovoked.
  3. not start flowers, branches, etc., may not know it and you're bringing a species (plant) in danger of extinction. Nor disturb the wildlife, after all we who are invading their habitat.
  4. Dogs must be tied to not disturb other hikers.

4) .- Recommendations

  1. Respect established paths, sometimes we believe we are taking a shortcut and then just walk over. The organization has arisen I deem the trip for you and tells you what is the best way forward.
  2. Always follow the marked path and do not cross the stepping farmland crops.
  3. Walking with hands free. Carry bag and no bags, it is important not to have their hands full to facilitate blood circulation. You can carry a cane.
  4. In descending slopes, must be looking down the slope and digging their heels at every step to keep balance and avoid falling or rolling uncontrollably.
  5. increases also for no trick: take it easy, with short steps and walk in zig-zag.
